my headphones are not working when i plug them in?

my mobile plays music out loud but when i plug my earphones in they don’t work, but they work when i use them on my mp3 player, my mobile takes any earphones its a n95 could anyone tell me why this is please

sounds like the headphone jack on your mobile may have a loose connection. If you wiggle the headphone plug while it’s plugged into your mobile and the sounds cuts on and off, the jack is bad or needs to be re-soldered onto the PC board inside your mobile.

Maybe a mobile store can fix it for you.
