How do you buy the right drain plug gasket?
When changing your oil how do you know what size drain plug gasket to buy? Do they come in sizes? And if they do where can I learn the sizes? Obviously I cant take off the gasket and drive to the store to measure it up with others.
Honestly the best way to do it is to get a new plug and gasket at the same time, they are available at any auto part store. Most cars do not use a gasket, so if you think that it fell off, it probably never had one. If the gasket is bad than go ahead and replace it.
