Bud Gel Tip
Am I cleaning my navel piercing correctly? (And can I use antiseptic?)?
I am using the saline solution my piercer gave me, and also this gel stuff that a different piercer gave my friend (she took hers out, due to infection)
I also use a special anti-bacterial soap before cleaning, and during cleaning.
I use Q-tips to get around the bar, and cotton buds for under it and around it.
Also, I do regular sea salt soaks.
Around the piercing is a red ring, that seems a little inflamed.
I would’ve put a picture, but my stupid camera is refusing to turn on!!
Also, would it be ok to use dettol antiseptic??
Or would it stuff it up, and make is heal over the bar??

Sounds like you’re taking good care of it!
Dettol antiseptic should be fine, put some on a cotton bud and clean around and under the bar, as you said you were. That should make the inflamation go down
